Sell custom engineering equipment and integrated process lines to the bakery industry.
Conduct market research and analysis into bakery equipment and processing lines.
Prepare and present technical and sales presentations.
Develop and align long-term business strategy plans and targets for the sale of custom-engineered equipment and integrated process lines for the bakery industry.
Publish market reports with updates on customer and competitive landscape in the bakery equipment and processing line industry.
Identify pre-qualifying sales leads and develop sales opportunities.
Review Requests for Quotation and clarifying customer requirements.
Submit proposals and develop sales opportunities.
Collate information regarding market pricing and expectations.
Updating customer relationship management software (CRM) and forecast lists.
Collaborate with business units during contract negotiations including terms and conditions and pricing of custom-engineered equipment and processing lines.
Send order confirmation documents.
Participate in turnover meetings.
Maintain client contact and manage client expectations.
Manage Field Service Engineers' activities and act as a conduit for Service Sales.
Manage Regional Sales Manager/s by recruiting, training, setting expectations and monitor performance.
Integrate and grow the industry-relevant spare parts business through the local organization.
Act as a conduit between the company's Italy affiliate and local customer base for projects in execution.
Participate in trade shows.
Position is responsible for USA and Canadian markets.
Travel 50-70% of the time, with 80% of that travel being domestic/North America.
Remote work permitted from any U.
S.
location.
Your Profile / Qualifications Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, food science, or a closely related field.
5 years of relevant professional experience, to include:
5 years of experience in business-to-business sales; 3 years of experience in technical writing related to complex industrial equipment; 3 years of experience in the bakery industry; 3 years of experience preparing and reviewing market analyses; 3 years of experience identifying, developing, and pursuing sales leads; 2 years of experience writing proposals and presenting them to clients; 2 years of experience preparing and presenting technical sales presentations to clients and at industry seminars.
Salary:
